Jambo to all of our Once In A Lifetime Safari fans!
Once In A Lifetime Safari is very excited to see many of our previous safari guest returning back to the continent of Africa.
Our safari coordinators have been receiving reports from our Once In A Lifetime Safari guides and their guest. They have indicated the weather has been spectacular while on their safari holidays in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Africa.
We have also been receiving reports that many of Kenya and Tanzania’s watering holes are being visited by large numbers of popular and unique animals.
This is great news, especially since in the past few years we have been experiencing droughts in many of Kenya and Tanzania parks and reserves.
With watering holes full and grass growing tall, the wilderbeast migration is in full swing.
All of our Once in a Lifetime Safari coordinators are waiting for your itinerary request for a Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Africa exciting safari vacation.

My husband and I had a FABULOUS time on our Safari two years ago. We are thinking about going on a Kenya or Tanzania Safari again next year. Our plan is to take our vacation sometime in the beginning of the year. Is late February or March a good time to visit kenya? Is it hot, warm or cold?
Thanks,
Jean
Hello Jean,
It is very nice to hear from you! I’m so happy that you are planning another African Safari adventure…
Yes, the later part of February and or March is a great time to visit either Kenya or Tanzania. Both of these months are known as the low or shoulder season.
Many Safari lodges/camps will lower their rates for their local guest. During these months, the grass in the Serengeti is at its shortest height(prior to the rainy season). It is the most wonderful time to go on a Safari to see all of the new born animals.
The nights are a little chilly, between 60F and 65F you will need to bring a light jacket with you. But during the day time hours, the temperature reaches into the mid 70′s.
